The Experience

Pointe Milou faces east-northeast, so Pinta gets the sunrise, not the sunset — the famous Milou sunsets happen a two-minute walk away at Ti St Barth (the cliffside institution above the villa). Reserve a Monday-night dinner there weeks ahead; that's the legendary themed party night and it books out first among returning regulars. Also: rent the smallest Mini-Moke or Suzuki jimny the villa's team can find you. The road down to Pinta is steep, tight and switchbacked, and full-size SUVs are a headache every time you leave.
