Why Go
Since 1995, Le Ti has been the island's most unapologetically theatrical night out: a real charcoal-grill restaurant that mid-meal turns into a feather-and-sequins cabaret, then a table-top dance floor with a costume room you're expected to raid.
The Experience
You arrive for a proper dinner at 7:30pm — candlelit tables, Caribbean-colonial styling, hilltop views over the north coast — and settle in like it's a grown-up gastronomic evening. Around 9pm the lights drop, the music swells, and international cabaret performers spill through the room in choreographed numbers that continue between courses. By 11pm the tables have been cleared into a dance floor, DJs take over, and guests disappear into the legendary dressing-up room to re-emerge as sailors, showgirls, superheroes and stranger things. It's part restaurant, part theater, part costume party — and somehow it works because the food is genuinely good and the staff have been doing this for three decades.
What to Try
Chef Pascal Giglio is a Maître Restaurateur who built his kitchen around the charcoal grill: order the dry-aged beef (the house signature), the whole grilled local fish, or a seafood platter to share. Rosé from Provence is the drink of the room — bottles, not glasses. Save room for dessert only if you plan to earn it back on the dance floor.
Insider Tip
Book a table for 8pm at the latest so you're finishing mains when the cabaret starts — that's when the room peaks. Ask specifically for a table near the stage rather than the terrace if it's your first time. And don't skip the costume room after 11pm; the regulars treat it as the whole point of the evening, and the photos are non-negotiable.
The Practical Stuff
Pointe Milou, 97133 Saint-Barthélemy. Open Tuesday–Saturday, late October through end of May (closed low season). Dinner from 7:30pm, cabaret show around 9pm, club until late. Reservations are essential December through April — book at least a week ahead in high season and further out over New Year's. Dressy-casual, but 'dressy' wins; smart shoes if you plan to dance on the table.
