The Experience
Only 21 hillside suites and a five-bedroom villa spill down the cliff, each with a private plunge pool or terrace angled toward the water — so the property never feels crowded even when Gustavia's yacht scene is at full tilt. Days drift between the Biologique Recherche spa, the Technogym-and-yoga pavilion, and long lunches at the on-site Beefbar (Monaco's flame-grilled import) or down at sister-restaurant Shellona on Shell Beach, reached by the hotel's complimentary shuttle. Insider Tip
Ask for a suite on the upper tier of the property — the views over Gustavia harbor are dramatically better than the lower rooms, and the walk down to breakfast becomes part of the experience rather than a chore. Also worth knowing: The Bar's sunset hour (roughly 5:30–6:30pm) is open to non-guests but seating is limited, so a same-day call to reserve a rail-side table is the move even if you're staying elsewhere on the island.
