Tucked into Les Galeries du Commerce right across from the St-Jean airstrip, Eden To Go is where the island's laid-back gourmets fuel up: it's the little sibling of the legendary Eden Rock Hotel, only with paper bags instead of white tablecloths and a soundtrack of small planes clearing the hill at Saint-Jean.
The Experience
Walk in around 7am and you'll find surfers, villa chefs stocking up, and jet-lagged arrivals fresh off the tarmac all queueing for flaky croissants and espressos at the counter. Grab a stool on the small terrace and watch turboprops thread the notch between the mountains, or take your order to go and be on the sand at Baie de Saint-Jean five minutes later. It looks like a simple bakery-café, but the kitchen is doing serious work: Eden Rock-caliber viennoiseries, banh-mi baguettes stacked with fresh herbs, egg benedicts under proper hollandaise, cold-pressed juices, and a takeaway counter that quietly caters half the island's yacht lunches and villa dinners.
What to Try
Order an egg benedict with smoked salmon and a fresh green juice for breakfast; at lunch, the banh-mi with spicy mayo is the local move (light enough for the beach, punchy enough to remember). If you're heading out on a boat or hosting at your villa, pre-order the 'Balade Gourmande' picnic (€80) or step up to the 'Escapade Dorée' (€110) — full appetizer-to-dessert menus packed and ready. Save room for the croissants at €1.50 apiece, which are arguably the best value in a €7-latte town.

Call ahead the day before if you want the boat/villa picnic boxes — walk-ins can grab pastries and sandwiches, but the curated to-go menus need a heads-up. And ask for Charlotte at the counter; the regulars swear by her for wine pairings and knowing which flight from San Juan just landed.
